My ALA plans

I leave tomorrow for ALA Annual in DC. We get a day mostly to ourselves to play tourist on Friday.
My conference plans:
Saturday
8a.m. Information in the World of Digital Natives
10:30 Beyond the NextGen Library Catalog
1:30 — torn! One of:
Gaming, info lit and the college student;
Social Software (BIGWIG) discussion; or
The original wireless connection, involvement in professional orgs.
4pm onward: LITA open house, happy hour, then meeting friends.
Sunday:
10:30: One of:
Harnessing the Hive, social networks in libraries; or
LITA Blog/Wiki interest group.
1:30: LITA top tech trends
4pm: Blogging in the Library and Information World
6:30: New Members’ Roundtable library student reception
Monday — if I can, I’m dying to go to Once Upon a Furl in a Podcast Long Ago: Using New Technologies to Support Library Instruction. Damn them for scheduling this at 8 a.m. on the day I leave, so I’m not sure I’ll make it.
