Teaching
I regularly teach information literacy class sessions for undergraduate English (and other) courses. Here’s a sample of the online guides I’ve created for some of these classes.
Workshops
I teach workshops on technology tools for library research. I’m the primary instructor for our bibliographic software workshops. I’ve been teaching EndNote for several years, including more advanced workshops on online searching and creating bibliographies, and this year have added EndNote Web and Zotero to my lineup. I’ve posted my Zotero class outline.
Most of my workshops have online guides associated with them:
As a companion to my bibliographic software classes, I created this Citation Manager Comparison Guide.
I also teach RSS: Information Delivery Made Really Simple, which teaches students the concepts of RSS, how to subscribe to feeds using Bloglines, and how to create custom RSS search feeds from library databases. Class outline, handouts and slides available.
Second Life
I’ve even taught in Second Life. Apparently my screenshots from this class turn up in a lot of conference presentations. If you see or hear about them appearing anywhere, would you please let me know with a comment below or an e-mail? (These images are released under a Creative Commons license, so I’m happy to share if I receive credit.)

Thanks! Your opinion means a lot — still working on it as of this writing, obviously…
